I’m Andrew Crider, founder of Altum.

My background spans 30+ years of leadership in high-consequence environments—where failure carries real operational risk and leadership must perform under pressure.

My Story

I built my leadership foundation in environments where:

  • Clarity wasn’t optional
  • Accountability was immediate
  • Performance had real consequences

As a U.S. Navy Command Master Chief, I led submarine crews in high-pressure environments where leadership had to be precise, disciplined, and consistent.

After retiring from the Navy, I spent over a decade in manufacturing leadership—where I saw the same challenges:

  • Misalignment
  • Inconsistent execution
  • Over-reliance on a few key leaders
